Qualifications:

Responsibilities:
- Patient Care: Conducting thorough assessments of patients' health, including physical exams and health histories. Monitoring vital signs, symptoms, and changes in patients' conditions. Administering medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians. Performing medical procedures and interventions, such as wound care, catheterization, and IV insertions.
- Patient Education: Educating patients and their families about health conditions, treatment plans, and self-care strategies.
- Patient Communication: Managing patient charts, records, and other documentation. Scheduling and coordinating patient care activities and appointments. Communicating effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
- Office Coordination: Ensuring a safe and clean environment for patients and staff. Collaborating with other healthcare professionals, such as physicians, medical assistants, to provide comprehensive care.

Responsibilities:
- Front Desk Coordination - Answer phone calls and address patient inquiries. Direct incoming calls to the appropriate staff or department.
- Patient Check-In/Check-Out - Greet patients as they arrive at the clinic. Verify patient information and update any necessary details while ensuring patients complete the required forms or paperwork. Inform patients about any necessary follow-up appointments.
- Appointment Scheduling - Schedule and confirm appointments for patients. Manage the appointment calendar efficiently and coordinate with medical staff to accommodate urgent cases. Respond to emails and messages promptly.
- Patient Education - Provide basic information to patients regarding clinic procedures. Offer guidance on completing paperwork and forms.
- Insurance Verification - Verify patient insurance information including checking coverage and eligibility.
- Collecting Co-Payments and Payments - Collect co-payments or any upfront payments from patients. Process payments, issue receipts, and maintain accurate records.
- Medical Records and Fax Management - Ensure proper handling and confidentiality of patient medical records. Retrieve and file medical records as needed while assisting with medical record requests and transfers.
- Communication with Medical Staff - Communicate patient arrivals and updates to medical staff. Relay messages or important information between patients and healthcare providers.
